Tascam US-2400 JOYSTICK support?

Anyone have any ideas about the liklihood of CW adding US-2400 joystick support to Sonar 5? I finally seem to have worked through my original US-2400 problems, and it's a wonderful controller that would be even better if Sonar allowed the joystick to control surround panning.

I just got a Tascam US-2400 and am having a problem with only the first eight faders working and the rest just follow those eight. Was that the problem you had before? If so, how did you resolve it? TIA!!!

I had to uninstall my MIDI interface (Midisport 8x8/s), Sonar 5, and the US-2400. I basically started from scratch, and reinstalled Sonar and then the 2400. Oh, I also uninstalled Sonar 1 before reinstalling everything else. As of yet I haven't reinstalled the Midisport, but I'll try it today and post results if things get whacky again.

Part of the problem may have been due to installing the 2400, then upgrading to V1.31 f/w, and V5.0.1 Sonar 5P. Someone else mentioned deleting some old MOTU MIDI interface files from their system and using a registry cleaner app. I haven't done anything with the registry yet, but it's probably a good idea to remove any MIDI junk from your registry if you aren't using it anymore.

If two banks are mimicking the first bank, go into Tools..Mackie Control - Configure Layout, then press F-KEY + SHIFT + Master SEL on the US-2400 (not in standby mode), then click Press Again When Done.

Believe me, I've become very familiar with the "F-Key, Shift, Master Sel" key thing. It's become almost as 2nd nature as Ctrl, Alt, Del.

Well, I HAD mine working... for a day or 2. Now it's doing the same crap, and I just spent the day trying to troubleshoot this damn thing AGAIN. I have a hard time believing it's not something that could be fixed if Tascam and/or Cakewalk would give it a little attention.

I suggest everyone who is having this problem keep trying to get answers from the manufacturers. This is ridiculous.
