Ebay Triton Extreme Scam

Has anyone noticed the huge numbers of Triton Extreme 88s that someone advertises on Ebay for $800?

This has to be a scam, and has been going on for months. Ebay should shut them down.

The scary thing is, if they advertised closer to the street price, they would get buyers.

Looks like a potential scam seller has only 2 replies from Buyers 1 from someone that is no longer registered on Ebay and the other was Negative feedback also the High bidder user id is kept private.

Definite scam, been seeing a lot of this lately. Look at the categories they choose, ie. Listed in category: Baby & Maternity > Travel > Other

When you inquire they (did now) will ask for Western Union Transfer. Seen them coming from England, Australia, and Romania.

They need to be reported for the item, the Listed Seller (as opposed to the contact email) using Problem with other members/Fraud concerns for buyers/problem you're having isn't listed. Make sure you specify the sellers Ebay ID, and info about the contact person and approx. how many items he is tied to in "other itens for sale". It's a good idea to send an inquiry and add the reply to the report.

This way they will de-list all items, not just the one you find. It's all we can do to battle this kind of scam.

I'm just playing by your rules, pops. The problem is people like yourself whining to the mods about every off topic post that you don't like. If off topic is bad, this is a bad thread, as it doesn not deal with Sonar an any way.

Thanks Bruce, I did get a chance to take a look, and filed a report. They do respond, I just wish they would be more pro-active.

There is a thread on Ebay Disussion Board HERE that describes this type of scam in detail.

Thanks for noticing the bogus listing.

No you are not. You are looking for any opportunity to whine and pimp your songs while whining.

Be a good community member and chill please.

btw, this doesn't have much to do with SONAR.

(yes I counted them...I'm bored in my lunch hour at work)
    Do I care?

BTW, anyone else get irritated by those smug so and sos who always post......."Working fine here"

I'm being a great forum member, by abiding by the rules and trying to keep non-Sonar discussions out of this board. It's what you and the other old farts wanted, isn't it?

That was exactly my point, BTW. A song made in Sonar, posted to demonstrate Sonar and draw ideas and discussion about Sonar, is way more on topic than most of the posts on this board.
