Stand alone host for DimPro

Hi - just got Dimension Pro and installed it.

What I am missing is some sort of equivalent to the sfz.exe microhost for playing it stand alone.

Playing DimPro from a keyboard through Sonar results in high latency and is in any case a clumsy solution for live work.

Try Savi-Host (click me for product info and download link!).
It may be what you're looking for, depending on your audio drivers.

You might want to check your Audio Driver settings in Sonar. Depending on your interface...

Edit: oh yeah, I forgot to mention Savi-host is free.

I have used Brainspawn Forte and Tobybear's Minihost.

For when I am solely playing one instrument rather than layers, effect chains, etc Minihost takes the prize for me - very simple, good quality. I was satisfied enough that I paid to register it.

Forte + EnergyXT plug-in make a very powerful combination, but you might find the combination redundant. If you're gonna play "headless" (no monitor) then no doubt Forte is the way to go. EXT is less expensive and has things like arpeggiators, chord, step sequencer, etc and can play standalone as well as plug-in.

    Thanks!

...but it's odd the microhost that came free with sfz wasn't simply included!???

OK, this is quite a lot of stuff, I'm sure to find one I like.
