Need a Little help. Please

I've got my self an external soundcard (trust SC-5500p 5.1 External Surround Sound) so that I can use Calke walk Sonar. cause it don't work properly with the default sound card of mine laptop..

ok. Now, when I'm recoriding. The input Volume parameter show me an higher input level for the left side than de right side. so let say, if the left side is getting an signal of
-17 Db, the right side is getting a signal of -10 Db. I can't do some good recordings with that problem... Can somebody help me please??

I don't know anybody who has that sound unit, but in the meantime, tell us what version of Sonar you are using, what material you are trying to record, and how you are recording it.

Check all your cables. See if there is a control panel for the sound card. In a pinch, you should be able to compensate for the differences there. You might have to unlink the left and right channel faders to do that.

What are you recording from? Maybe the L/R outputs aren't balanced correctly, or is that too obvious?
