Cakewalk at MusikMesse

looks like they'll be sharing a space with Edirol Europe

http://musik.messefrankfurt.com/frankfurt/en/home_exhbsearch_detail.html?exh_id=mf_broenner_0010005503

anybody going to check up on our favorite developers and/or product demonstrators ?

now that b-rock has broadband it would seem that inter-continental flight should be within reach as well

Having received an email from Cakewalk regarding a special price reduction on Kinetic, it makes me wonder if they are planning on announcing an update to this product at the Musikmesse...

Whilst waiting for my broadband connection (and having no connection in the meantime) gave me some time to give S5PE a run out....I really hope they implement the same standard of dualcore support in the next P5 update, as the implementation in Sonar was ultra-smooth and gave really great results on the cpu front...am I setting myself up for another fall in hoping for something at Musikmesse?

I can add some fuel to the fire. I'll tell you that I overheard one of our favorite people here mention frantically seeking out some last-minute (a week and a half back) accommodations for this event. And I'd suspect that Craig Anderton would be there as well. As for myself, I'd love to go to this, but I won't be there.

These settings are taxing: a massive amount of information to take in, a lot of logistics involved, and very costly without getting your way 'comp-ed' through it. Still, the experience of a lifetime for anyone interested in music. It's too early to cash in on a 'disappearing act' birthday gift that I've been offered. And besides, I'd miss this year's retirement party on April 1st.

The dissappearing is easy, the asking yourself why is tough.

In addition, Cakewalk now has 5 products that natively support Windows XP Professional X64 Edition. To celebrate our advances with 64-bit computing for musicians, Cakewalk, EDIROL, Intel, and Microsoft will be hosting an invitation only X64: Cocktail Party.

How come we didn't get invited. I mean naughthill, I'm sure, would've represented us well. I tell ya, being the red-headed step-child isn't easy.

    have a good one

how did cocktails get to be called cocktails?
it's a very odd word and you don't have to think about it too much before other associations begin

I'd love to be at a gathering with some rep from Microsoft after a few rounds of loosening agents and ask about that Vista OS delay

The only way that Project5 is going to crash this party is if someone smuggles in the Zima. There's some risk involved, because that substance has been banned in Germany. And rightfully so.

    LOL!!!

    ...

All right... that's it... - I'm going to start collecting these things and assemble my own collection of "B Rock-isms" - Someday it'll rival the Yogi Berra collection, I'm sure...

In addition, we’ve blown away SONAR’s 16 track ReWire channel limitation by raising it to 4096! If anyone needs more channels than this, please contact us we’d love to check out your hot-rod PC. Read the SONAR 5.2 press release for all the details.
