End Of Song Fade Out??

Hey gang. I just have a quick ? for you all. How do I Fade my Song out at the end of the recording/ when I do A final mixdown before I export it to an MP3?? I have looked into the tutorials but I have not seen the words end of song fade out anywhere, so I am looking to you cats for some help. Please explain the whole process in detail, as I am a brand new user to the cakewalk/pc recording thing. Thanks in advance for anybodies help.

    It's really pretty simple. Grab your mouse, point to the top right end of your audio track, left click and hold down the mouse (you will see a small triangle appear) , then just drag the mouse to the left and there you go. You can do this with any audio track.

    Also, here's another trick you might try, Rock, along the same line as fixerman's suggested...

    Trim all the tracks so they have the same end (typically, one might be a little longer than the other, etc.). You can do this by placing the pointer at the trim location, selecting all tracks and Splitting (shortcut "S" on the keyboard). Click on and delete the unwanted leftover ends.

    Then do another select all, hold your cursor over the end of the track until you see the Fade triangle mentioned above, drag to the left, and it performs the same fade on all the tracks.

    This performs the same function, but all at once. It is handy when you have a good number of tracks you want to fade out, and with a little practice, I think it's quicker.
