Upgrade from M-Audio to Lynx/Grace?

Hey folks - my current setup is M-Audio 192/DMP3 - Sonar Producer 5 - using Waves Bundle II/Power Pack...

I'm comtemplating upgrading hardware to:

1. Lynx One
2. Grace 101

How much of a difference should I hear? (if used right of course )

Music - Acoustic guitar, bass, piano, soft electric guitar, and Garritan's Personal Orchestra

Thanks

God bless

I'd say get the Grace first and see how much difference that makes compared to your corrent Pre. Then go from there. Is your room acoustically trated? Do you have good monitors? That may be more important that the sound card. No need to get a great AD/DA if your room won't let you hear the difference.

    Thanks for response

    1. Makes sense - my card may be ok

    2. Unfortunately not - just a "rank amateur" - in my living room and a trailer at that!

    3. M-Audiphile monitors with decent Sony headphones

    God bless
