Sonar 3 help (midi and burning)

You'll have to forgive me because not only do I have an old version of Sonar, but I've never worked with midi before.

I am using an M-Audio delta 44 and an M-Audio Midi port. I can't hear the midi tracks. I know its connected properly because, when I hit record, its showing that midi is being recorded. The only way I can hear the midi is if I select my sound blaster card as the audio output. Is there any way I could use the Delta 44 to hear the midi?

Also, when I export the tracks to WAV files and burn them onto a CD, they don't sound as clear as they did on Sonar. Is there a better way to burn my projects onto a CD?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. As you can tell, I don't really know this stuff too well.

Sonar 3 Producer came with Vsampler and Edirol VSC
Go to Insert\DXI, select a Synth, VSC is the simplest
Have it create both the Audio and MIDI tracks.
Press a key and you should here piano.
