VST Plugin Wrapper MIDI Out - Any updates?

Is there any update on the issues of the VST - DX wrapper not being able to transmit MIDI data for general plugins like Drumagog? (I am aware that wrapped VST Instruments are now working)

Would be great to do away with this dreaded Directixer once and for all.
