Control surface???

Damn! I was all set to buy a Tascam US-2400, and felt like an idiot when the rep called back and said they were discontinued. Anything else out there that would be similar? I need at least 16 channels, and don't want (well, can't afford) to spend $ 1,500-2,000. Suggestions?

    You would have felt worse if you actually had gotten the unit. Now discontinued.
    I hate it when that happens.

    OTOH, I have never needed tech support with any Tascam stuff. It just works.
    Other folks report different results.

    At least their mixers and their "main line" things work. a LOT of users have been having trouble with their USB sound cards working with Sonar/SHS.
