Missing serial #, HELP!!!!!

Missing serial #, HELP!!!!!

I just recieved my dimension pro upgrade from cakewalk and when I go to install it to my PC, it states that the serial number is on the back of the dvd case. Guess what, I have a sticker that has a space for a serial number, but there is nothing there. I tried using my project 5 version 2 serial number but had no luck with that. Am I really dense and I missed something or did I just get shafted?

I emailed cakewalk support but I probably won't hear back from them until tomorrow. Did I do something wrong or did anyone else experience something like this???? Thanks again for any replies.

    Their email is often slow, make sure to call 1-888-CAKEWALK first thing tomorrow to get a faster response! Good luck!

    I got that same thing. The serial number was in an email that they sent to me when I purchased DimPro. I found the email and there was the serial number. So I put the serial number on my yellow sticker.

    Look for the email from Cake.

    I looked and I do not have any other email except my orginal receipt and an email with my client ID and order number.

    I guess I will call them tomorrow.

    Thanks again for the quick replies.

    Maybe I just deleted the email by mistake.

    This exact same thing happened to me yesterday. I phoned customer support and Dan helped me. I did find an email but it did not have the code. Dan also noted that I had not been sent a code. He said
    "That's weird"..... Anyway, in no time he supplied me with a code and it worked great!

    Ok, so they confirmed that I was supposed to have an email. After a 2 minute no hassle conversation with cakewalk support. They forwarded me the correct email. Now I am a happy owner and user of Dimension Pro, WOOT WOOT!!!!

    Just wanted to note that I was pleasantly suprised with the no hassle support from cakewalk.

    I also got DP. There's no serial # in the dvd case. Cakewalk sent it by email, along with the activation code.

    But don't worry, you can use my serial number. It's 8237840830909839
