Virtual Piano question

I'm running Music Creator 2003, and I'm trying to create a "beep" like when something is censored on the radio. I've found a wav file of one, but it's not long enough for what I need. So I tried numerous ways of stretching it with copy/paste methods as well as groove clip looping and other things, nothing is working right.

So, I figured I'd try just making a MIDI note at the proper pitch. The help files say that I can install and use the Virtual Piano to do this, and that I can install the Virtual Piano from my MC installation CD, in the root of the disc. However, I have not been able to find a "Virtual Piano" file anywhere on my disc. Can someone please help me with this? I have to have this project completed by tomorrow morning, and it won't work without the beep...

Thanks in advance!!!

I don't know about the stuff that comes on the CD with MC3, so I can't help you there. It seems however, that if you have a beep wav that you should be able to make it work. it may be that the beginning or end might need to be cropped off if there's a trail or a begnining ramp up to the full sound, but you should be able to use the middle part of the note and then create a groove clip and pull it out in the track for as long as you need the beep to be. then you can add the begining and/or ending back in after you ahve the length done.

Yeah, I tried that, but it kept putting a slight space between the repeats, or giving it a wierd warbly effect. But it's okay, I borrowed my friend's roland keyboard and found a suitable voice in it. :)

    Thanks for the help though!

If one has acid studio or acid pro you can open the sound in two different track aand the render to another track to get it down to one.

I'd Seize the day but i can't quite reach it!

If you're running XP, Virtual Piano won't work, even if you emailed cakewalk and had them send it to you. That's what I did before, but I was on Win98.
