At this rate, P5 might get the props it deserves. As long as songs like this continue to be made with it, then the naysayers will over time be silenced. Very well done. "Mastered" nicely. Which preset?

To think, at one time P5 was a $429 MSRP app.

Thanks everyone for the kind replies and for listening.

Oroboros, I used the "Dance Master 4 Band Dynamics" preset with Ozone.

Hi David, very nice sounding track. Love the opening with the mellow sounds and arps. It builds well and kept me interested to the end.

No, I can't submit this because I have yet to get P5 - it is on my list of the many things I need though...if it all weren't so expensive.... I had asked a while back if people minded if posted my songs here that I did with 'other' Cakewalk products I just love the community here.

Trust me! P5 is on my list...

Thanks for listening and the nice comments!!

Hi David, it's a wonderful work. Nice composition and mix. Did you use 'Camelspace' ?

Oh yes!!! CamelSpace is one of my favorites :) I have been told I use it too much, but it just gives me so much inspiration. That has got to be the best tool I have in my arsenal - which isn't really that big right now

Thanks everyone for taking the time to listen. I really appreciate it. Feedback is important - so long as it's honest feedback.

    David,

I liked this piece a lot. The bass and the arps maintained good energy and kept pushing forward the whole tune. I like how you leave spaces at different points to let the listener fill in for him/herself.

Yea, you develop a lot of different textures throughout the song. And everything has its own space.

Lots of Happy layers there and a driving piano theme. Definately likeable.
