Rapture 101 - Midi sync

Hi folks,

I have worked with midi, but I am new to this electronica-synth-loop stuff.

I have the Rapture demo and i am having a blast!

I notice that Rapture has presets with midi patterns in them.

Here are my Rapture 101 questions:

Can I sync a Rapture sequenced preset with my midi track so that if I change the midi tempo the Rapture sequence changes tempo as well (and stays synced)? If so how?

Is it better to use multiple instances of Rapture controlled from Sonar, or create a complex sequence in Rapture and sync it with Sonar? Pros and Cons?

Are there samples of Sonar projects (or just midi tracks) with Rapture that I could examine to get ideas?

    I think Rapture is synced by default. If the sequence seems slow you can change that so that it's when you want it to be.

    This is how I do it. And since Rapture is efficient I've had no problems what so ever.

    Are there samples of Sonar projects (or just midi tracks) with Rapture that I could examine to get ideas


    I know of Project 5 projects but not Sonar. But someone will be along that might know soon.

    The "Sequences" aren't full songs and stuff only stuff generated with the step generator. It should sync with the host tempo automatically if you have the lfo's or the step generator turned on and set to a sync amount.

    Wow.. that is great. I just figured you had to do something to sync it up. I am having fun already!
