Manual for Pentagon, PsynII, etc.

Is there a downloadable (PDF) manual for any of the synths included with Sonar5 and Project5? The Project 5 manual has about a page for each one. I've had Pentagon for about 4 months now and just accidently discovered the menu hidden behind the logo (Knob Mode, MIDI config, Program, Voice moduator, etc.). How can I find out how these work? My immediate question though is how do I set Pentagon up so I have several MIDI tracks sending info to it and have different sounds for each track? I've tried messing with the channels and banks, but when I change one, all other MIDI tracks change to the same sound. Do I need a separate instance for each sound? Also, are there keyboard shortcuts?

Thanks.

AFAIK Pentagon is mono-timbral, so you'll need several instances.

I'm not sure about Pentagon's manual, but there's always some good info floating around at [rgc:audio at KVR]. As for PSYN II, there's a help file under Guides to Instruments and Effects in Project5 that's really quite detailed. I'm hoping that there's something similar in Sonar5's online manual.

I also put something together a while back that might help. There's a .pdf hosted at the Technetos site: [PSYN-tology]. There are a set of companion files for each tutorial at P5.com.

    b rock,

I do remember going through many of your tutorials over a year ago. They did help. I need to go through them again.
I'm interested in the menu items found in Pentagon (MIDI config, Voice Modulator, etc.) And how to use them. I'll do some digging in KVRAUDIO.com.

I think DivarU may be right about needing a separate instance for each unique sound.

    Thanks.

Got it. That's what I'm looking for.
It looks like it may be for an older version (1.0?). I noticed the date is May 2003. I have 1.4. Graphics are different and some functions aren't mentioned (Oversampling, Voice modulator and formant filter for example). And vise versa, some referenced features I can't find (p 26 MIDI learn for example).

This helps A LOT, but is there a more up to date manual?
