trying to print staff view

i'm sure i'm being a dofus again but i cant' print the staff view. i can print the info page but when i get teh staff view up the print preview is greyed out. if i hit ctrl-p i get the rastral dialog but no print options. staff view is the current view under window and i highlite the track i want to print

    fouind the answer to my own problem so i thought i would post it. apparently if floating is enabled it won't print. once i disabled it everything printed fine

    Hi-

    Just wanted to relate a(nother) Search success story! "Print" and "Print Preview" were disabled for me in Staff View, and I couldn't find anything in the documentation about it. I entered "print disabled" in the Search box and voila! What a time & frustration saver this forum can be!

    reminds me of the good ol' days when we had to use the black printer driver rather than the color driver for the early HP color printers.

    Anyone remember that?
