Need Beagle, or Robo?!

What's happening fellas? I need a little assistance. I want to know if you can edit the volume inside of a audio track. I have a main guitar line in a track, and the part were I do a duet with 2 other guitars, I want to lower the volume of the main guitar line so that the duet is more of a focus. I know you can curve the begining and the end of the tracks, and in some other programs, I understand you can adjust the volume levels in the tracks. Is it even possible inside of MC, or MC Pro (I have both). Meaning, I want to have main guitar line be at a certain level in the beginning, then, in the middle the level drop, and at the end, bring it up again? THanks in advance for the advice.

Peace

If I'm understanding you correctly, you have three guitar parts in one track and you want to change the volume of ONE of those three guitars? Then your answer would be no. Sorry. There are things you could probably do that would help, but I doubt you're going to get the results you want. If the guitar is playing a different area of the scale, you could try EQ'ing by cutting the frequencies that it's not playing, or you could try adding a little expansion, but I'm not sure how affective it will be. Your best bet is to always use seperate tracks for each instrument so that you can have more control over each part.

Now, if you want to change the volume of the entire track at different parts in time, then you can do that with an envelope. Right click on the track, choose ENVELOPE>VOLUME and you can add nodes that will automate the volume up and down at different parts of the track. That might help if your guitar part you want to change the volume on is a solo!

Is it three tracks of one guitar each, or one track of three guitars?

Thanks guys...Robo, Each of the guitars are individual tracks. I just want to lower the volume of main guitar line so the the other two doing solos are louder at this point in the song.
