Who killed "Sonar Vs Protools"?

I really value the insightful technical advice that the good members of this forum offer. I also enjoy the inspired wit and lunacy that flourishes in many posts. When I logged in just now, the first post I looked for was "Sonar Vs Protools which is more pro?", a hilarious thread that poked fun at our collective pretentions about software and hardware, and our pathological willingness to engage in debate about such stuff at the drop of a troll.

It was gone, assigned, as I discovered, to the purgatory of the "off-topic landing zone". There I discovered another lonely unlinked post, this one from the esteemed kilgoretrout, that never even made it to this forum. Mr. Trout's meditations on extending Sonar's qualities into everyday life situations surely deserved at least an hour or two on the main forum before being censored.

Who are the killjoys who are trying to drive humour out of this site? It's OK to drone on about the 50 most influential albums of all time ad nauseam (confession: I was a droner too), but not participate in a harmless little group wank about Pro Tools and Sonar?

This place is not a church.

Or temple/mosque/gurdwara, etc.

Oooh that's funny, and I'm jealous that I didn't think of it first.
