Cannot pan with stereo track to stereo bus, help.

I have all of my tracks now running to their own bus. vox to vox bus then to master. Guitrar to guitar bus then to master. Bass to bass bus then to master ext...

I cannot seem to get seperation with the panning however. I will try and solo a track and pan from both the "track pan" and the "bus pan". It sounds like everything is still running right up the middle of the sound scape?? I've panned before with sucess however now that I'm using busses, I canot get tracks to pan left or right?? Any ideas??

that sounds a bit odd. are you using sends or routing (outputs)? if you use a send i don't think you'll get the separation because the send pan only affects (someone correct me if i'm wrong) which side of the original signal goes to the send bus. however if you are using the bus pan as well then it should pan it anyway.

when you use outputs (routing) it should end up in your (stereo, right?) bus at whatever point the track pan is set. i'm not sure what effect the bus pan will have at that point, except to further pan the sound.

Maybe you set the Master buss to "mono" and forgot to set it back to "stereo"??

howie, sumthins' funky, sounds odd, it should just pan, but then, you knew that huh? check your settings on all the tracks and busses.

    I'd rather be playing Bass:
