suggestions for good side chain comp's...

Give some ideas. TC are not good with Sonar...

    That's about it, as far as I know. There are other dynamics processors that use stereo-based workarounds to achieve sidechain, such as the included cakewalk fx compressor. Not the easiest way to work, but it does allow you to access a sidechain.

    FWIW, Reaper allows for real, full-blown sidechain.
