Revalver problem/question

I'd like to use the Alienware Revalver plugin, but as soon as I insert it to a track it creates audio confetti -- a completely different effect which is not usefull in my genre. The audio plays in spits, fits, and starts like the tremelo from hell!

It's been like this since I installed Sonar 5. I hoped it was related to my RME Hammerfall card, but now I have a FireFace and Revalver still doesn't work right. I'm at a loss -- any suggestions?

Thanks,

THis may seem obvious, but are you using WDM, ASIO or what drivers? What latency are you using.

Sonica dual core 3.4 GHz with 2GB ram, 2-300GB audio drives 1-80Gb system drive, RME DIGI 9652, Sonar 6 PE, Mackie D8B, 2x MOTU MTP AV USB, TC Powercore Firewire, UAD1, vintage synths, Modcan modular, guitars, outboard gear,

I found out that if I have a revalver reverb module going to a sonitus reverb plugin, I get that effect.

I had this same problem when I upgraded from S4 to S5. Do you have the 64-bit Double Precision Engine box checked in the Audio Options? The version of Revalver that shipped with S4 won't run with the 64-bit setting. I understand there is a Revalver upgrade that fixes this problem, but I haven't tried it.
