finishing help

when recording, my guitarist played an extra note....by mistake. how can i cut that extra note out?

    In the track view, click on the area before the extra note so that the NOW TIME pointer is right in front of the note. left click with the mouse and it will bring a menu up - select SPLIT. if the note is at the very end of the clip, then just delete the end, if not, repeat the process on the right side of the note, then delete the note.

    you probably also want to "snap to grid" and "enable zero crossings"
