trying to add image with post not working

I wonder how users add it without the link , I saw pics come right up in the post...

    I always highlight only the exact characters contained in Properties, and press the "image' button above, Markus. That said, some sites prevent the image from being linked externally, for various (good) reasons. One good clue is that the address in Properties isn't ending in .jpg, .png, .gif, or similar.

    thank you Bi rock for your reply . I guess you are right , there is no jpg,png,etc with the link .

    hehe now I have to find another webiste who can make life eaiser .

    I had the same problem with AOL. As b rock mentioned, they don't allow a direct link. I am using Photobucket.com for the images I have been posting. Its free, you just have some ads from the sponsors.
    These ads are just on your photobucket page, not adware.

    Here's the image.  The clip on the right is selected.
     This one does not have the 45 degree angle on the bottom white line.

    I guess your just testing, looks like you got it to work. 
     these instructions are old and outdated. 
    Most people here use Imgur as there are no ads. 
    Photobucket has blocked all my old shots and is asking for money to get them back. So there will be lots of dead links on this form for photos now.
