Playing with Rapture question

I have not done much reading yet. Just installed. Is the only way to use Rapture is with a midi key board or can on do some tests using the Piano Roll key board from Sonar,to play notes that would use Rapture. If so , what setting would there be for in put and out. Thanks

Yes, you can mouse-click on the piano roll to trigger notes. When inserting the synth, make sure you check off "midi and audio outs" for the synth options in the dialog box. Then, just open the piano roll (not sure if you need to set the midi channel to 1) and click away.

When programing Rap/Dpro I open the Pview close it to the keyboard and then make it smaller to sit out of the way. Or loop a midi clip to play.
