Problem with Dimension piano

The Dimension piano causes my audio to break up, and sometimes crash.
It happens with flurries of notes, particularly in the upper octaves, and with moderately large jumps from one range to another. It's really bad when using the sustain pedal. At times it plays fine, then other times it seems futile.
I've messed with the latency, and it doesn't help.
Any ideas?

Verify your available memory, it sounds like the samples are swapping to disk.
Make sure you have enough free memory before loading the piano patches: all pianos should work with 512MB, but if you have background applications (or other synth instances) consuming memory you might run out of memory, forcing DP to swap.
