One thing I really like about the Korg is the X-Y pad for rolls and flams. You can hold down one of the pads to trigger the sound and move your finger around on the X-Y pad to change the dynamics and speed of the roll or flam. Takes some getting used to, but it's easier than trying to play convincing rolls on pads. If you don't have the Roll or Flam button engaged, it works for pitch bend... not useful for traditional stuff, but it can get some way out stuff for twisted electronica.
Oh... and yeah... the lights are pretty cool too!
