Vintage Sounds for DimPro/Rapture

Warning: DIY ahead.

Here's an incomplete collection of links to some one-page articles on classic synth sound emulations. The parameters are easily transferrable, and can be reconstructed inside of many synths, including Cakewalk's flagship models. They all come from a single unnamed magazine (Hint: it's keyboard-related). Most articles are written by Mitchell Sigman, with one by Tom Brislin.

Later offerings (not yet online) include Steve Winwood's Prophet lead sound, The Who's 'sequencing-synth(!)' sound, and The Cars' signature synth bass. OK, this last one was a little tough to translate. You need to perform a little 'sleight-of-sync'. One click and five spare minutes will gain you a usable patch, along with a better understanding of how your synths work.
