Soon to be D pro hoe

Looks like I'm about to purchase Dimension Pro. However, rapture caught my eye as well. I have to wonder if the future of D pro is Rapture. In other words, perhaps its only a matter of time until D pro contains the same features, or at least close to it. Also, will rapture read the D pro library???

I basically need "real life" instruments but love to play with them in the synthesis realm.

Blah, blah, blah...

I think Cakewalk did good w/ D pro - But what puts D pro above other large content sample playback software? What can it do in the programming department that makes it stand out??? What exactly are "elements"???

I get the impression that if Cakewalk keeps updating the sound library for D pro it's going to be a real good thing.

No, Rapture can't read DimPro "programs," but it can read the samples. -- Threads here on that.

You can consider each "element" as a separate synth.

Let's see if I can find you a good thread that compares/contrasts Rapture and Dim Pro....brb...
