SONAR 4 - Re-register second hand copy. Legit?

I'm still with SONAR 3 but was offered SONAR 4 for half nothing.

The chap has already upgraded to SONAR 6 with his registration. Can I register this version or is it dead software because of his upgrade?

    BTW: Can I upgrade from SONAR 3 to SONAR 4 (at a cheaper price) or have I missed to boat and have to go for 6?

    SONAR can't be resold. You can't register or upgrade

    You have to go for 6, but visit the products page because I believe as a Sonar 3 owner you still get a substantial discount.

    Edit --> Oh, and 6 is great! You'll love it!

    Yes...S6 is a terrific upgrade. Definitely get the discount. If you're pressed for $$, consider buying S6 just before S7 is released. There is usually a deal where you get the current version plus the version about to be released all for one low upgrade price (traditionally around $180).
