Mixing Tracks

Hey guys i am new to this program and was wondering if any of you guys could help me out. I want to take songs I already i have on my computer and take the background music (instrumentals) of one song and put only the words or lyrics of another song on that background music. essentially making a remix. is kinetic 2 the right program or do i need music creator? all help is appriciated thanks.
