new question

i want to be able to convert mp3 and other similar song formats to a file and software that then creates sheet music, and then play the music and different tempos for practice purposes......does cakewalk have this software? tks

    Audio to midi (data) only works with single tracks and even then not very well unless it's drums. There is no technology I know of that will take apart a mixed song and make midi (needed for sheet music) from it.

    However, the midi file of the song should be fairly easy to find on the internet. The quality and number of parts may vary. If you can get the midi file then Sonar can display and print sheet music.
