Metronome help

Im having trouble putting a click on to scracth tracks which i export to mp3.I want to be able to hear the click so i can practice to the scratch tracks with a click. When i export it,the click is gone.I have tried putting in a midi click track and, again when i export to mp3 no click.
One more quick question,on the metronome itself, how do i get rid of the accent?I went to audio metronome properties, and change the db values both to 0.0 and the accent is still there???
This is on sonar 4.Thanks in advance.

You won't hear the metronome when you export because it's pretty much never wanted. If you want it, create a MIDI click clip for the length of the song and run it through a DXI synth, like the Edirol.
Then, when you want to export, make sure that both the MIDI and synth tracks are selected as well as the instrumentation.

There's an option somewhere (probably in Global settings), and I know in my setup it's an option on the main toolbar at the top of the screen (with the audio/midi/countin metronome options).

The only one of those DXIs I'm familiar with is the Dreamstation. I think it has a few drum sounds in it. I'd assume the TTS probably does too. Basically, what you want to do is to run that midi track through a synth making a drum sound. Personally, I use a cowbell because it's sharp or clicky enough, and it's an awful sound that I'd never mistake for being a part of my drum tracks. But you can use whatever sound you want.
So once you've got one of your synths playing your desired metronome sound, make sure both the DXI and MIDI tracks are highlighted along with your music tracks when you export, and it should appear on the file.

Take the tutorials in the Help section if you're still not sure. They'll explain how to use the softsynths effectively.

Wow this is proving to be harder than i expected. What am i missing here?
I have tried bouncing everything including ( sblive midi click ).
Im using the encoder from PA9. and sonar 4 producers edition. If all else fails, i guess im going to have to just record directly to CD as it plays.Just wondering if there was an easier way?

Any input on the other question in the original question?

To create a click track using midi and the TTS-1 soft synth:

    1. Open synth rack, add TTS-1 with a midi input and a single output (maybe primary outputs or first output..can't remember what it's labeled). This creates 1 midi track and 1 audio track.
    2. In the track view in the midi track, TTS-1 is set as output. Select "preset rhythm" and "standard set".
    3. Open the piano roll for the midi track. Draw in notes using any instrument you'd like (should see names and not a piano keyboard). Keep the pattern small because you can loop it.
    4. Close piano roll. Right click on clip and make it a groove clip.
    5. Drag the clip out to the length of your project.
    6. Solo the track and press play to hear the results. You may want to adjust the output of the TTS-1 audio track to a bus or an audio output.
    7. Bounce the audio track for the TTS-1 to a track or just export it with the final clip.
