Z3tA+: 2x Oversampling - won't turn on?

I have Sonar 6, Z3TA+ V1.4.

Under Z3TA+ options, there is 2x Oversampling. But it just says 2X oversampling, there are no choices or drop down like other choices under "options". In the past when I had the soft synth installed in Sonar 5 (if I recall correctly), I could turn it on or off. (I think there would be a check mark next to it when enabled).

Please point me in a direction, I am lost on this issue.

Thanks,

I just checked both my VST and DX versions (in P5), same as what you describe. Odd.

To think, at one time P5 was a $429 MSRP app.

    Sonar 6 with Z3TA+ v 1.41 here.

I can check/uncheck 2x Oversampling on the options menu as you described doing in S5. I open the Options menu and click it to toggle the checkmark.

Hmmm... last time I checked mine I know it was working fine, but I don't have the DAW fired up to check now. One thing comes to mind though; what sampling rate are you running the project at. If it's higher than 48k I don't think you'll be able to select 2X. It was originally implemented so that you could get 88.2k or 96k sound quality when using it in lower sample rate projects. I don't remember if René said that it isn't available or just does nothing at the higher rates. (Just throwing it out there because it's the only logical reason I can think of that 2X oversampling might not be available.

They call 'em fingers, but I've never seen 'em fing.

24 bit 88.2k sample rate here.

z3ta+'s 2x oversampling will work at 44.1k and 48k only.

Thanks Rene! I am running at 96k and that explains it. Thanks for the fun toy that is z3ta+!
