Sonar 6 issue (missing notes on playbace of midi clip using Battery 2)

I problem that just started surfacing using the Battery 2 VST plug-in (other plug-ins might have this problem as well) is sometimes notes that are supposed to play back don't playback.

This has been a random occurance. Anyone else with this problem?

I have been sequencing in Reason lately to avoid this. I did not have this problem in Sonar 5 btw.

    I've had it happen too.
Just recently, but it was OK with another synth. Once I think I resolved it by adjusting the amp or filter envelope of the patch.

Do you have something like Perfect Space inserted anywhere? I've found that plug-ins that introduce a large latency themselves can cause this, but the fix is either to increase (I think) the MIDI buffer lookahead (Options\Global) or decreae the plug-in's latency (this can at least be done with Perfect Space).

Yes, the problem is MIDI buffering. You need to add more.

    Go to:
Preferences > Playback and Recording > Prepare using 2000 Millisecond buffers.
