Temporarily replacing Delta 1010LT w/ MBox2 USB - tips?

Hi

I have to send my M-Audio Delta 1010LT PCI card in for repair, so I'm going to dust off the old MBox 2 to use in the meantime.

I think I should remove all traces of the Delta card including registry keys, then install the MBox drivers. When I get the Delta back, I plan to remove all traces of the MBox software & registry keys before reinstaling the Delta.

Does this seem the best way to do this? Am I being over-cautious? Not cautious enough? Does anyone know if this will screw up my track/bus routing in Sonar? I always have everything summed at the Master before it goes out to the Delta hardware outs anyway, and I guess the inputs don't matter much if I'm done recording on any given track.

Thanks for any advice. I really just want to prevent conflicts before they happen.

Cheers
-Mike
