Firewire MIDI Interface

I have been looking for a MIDI interface like the MOTU Microlite or MIDI Express units but with a firewire interface. I have looked at M-Audio and they are all USB as well. It would seem that with many of the audio interfaces being firewire that there would be a MIDI firewire unit as well. Does a unit like this exist?

    I don't think so, firewire is WAY overkill for the tiny bit of data midi generates and USB has already been engineered for so I don't see any vendor spending money on that.
