The 110 is a dreadnaught bodied guitar, so it'll be deeper and bassier sounding making it better suited for strumming and flatpicking. It will also be less well balanced (the 3rd & 4th string won't be as loud as the others). A concert grand body is best for fingerpicking because it's very well balanced and the notes will really jump off the fretboard with minimal effort. It won't be quite as loud or have as much low end though. In the middle of the two is the auditorium grand body and that's what the 214 is. It's the best of both worlds. It's still well balanced and has both a deeper and louder tone, just not quite like a dreadnaught. An auditorium grand body is the best all around style to have if you do a little bit of everything--fingerpicking, flatpicking, strumming. Lead players generally go for a dreadnaught, but a auditorium body is still very loud and fine for flatpicking.
