Getting RId of Rapture Demo?

OK This is going to sound stupid and I apologize in advance.

I downloaded the Rapture demo some time ago. Then I bought it (guess I was wrong in an earlier post). I have a working copy with serial number and so forth. It is registered.

I was having a strange fade in and out problem that someone properly diagnosed as a demo version of the program. Funny, but I was getting the demo on the second instance of Rapture and the registered on the first in a project.

So I did the uninstall routine. Reinstalled Rapture. Deleted the .dll that was in my VST directory. Copied the new one into my VST directory.

Open a new project. Open two raptures. Once comes up registered the other comes up demo.

This has me mystified. Any suggestions?

Sonica Dual Core 3.4 GHz, 2GB Ram, 3HDs, UAD1, PoCo Firewire, DIGI 9652, D8B, vintage synths, guitars and more money than talent (though questionable how much of either). XP Home SP2. SPE6.2. Other things of variable interest.

Got it out of the registry. This was major surgery.

Cake-It would be nice if when you install permanent software you get rid of the demo stuff correctly.

Demo version is correctly replaced with the retail version. However, there are several reasons which might prevent that happening, all system-dependant:

    - Demo version dll open or in-use when retail installer is started
    - Insufficient user privileges to write registry or replace files/folders when installing the retail installer
    - Major system issues such as corrupted files, read-only files and others.

That is why we do *strongly suggest* to uninstall the demo version before installing the retail.

I have problems with having dowloaded the free Sonar 6 demo before
getting my full Sonar 6. I actualy had to reload the demo to get
the Sonar 6 to work without crashes.........

    Demo's are the antichrist
