New Tracks for listening pleasures......

HEllo to All!

I am a big fan of cakewalk product for their accesibility and price. I enjoy keeping my production ideas at home, and simple. So, I decide with this next project to try and track and mix all of my stuff just in two programs, Kinetic V2, and MC Pro. Reason being that I want to see how good they can be, and learn as much as possible about real options for those who enjoy this, or want to try and do something with it.

So, here is a link to two of the frist group. One track acoustic, one electro/acoustic. I played real guitars, and sang, the rest all done inside of K2. So, take a listen, and if you have advice......drop it, so I can pick up what-cha puttin down!

Very nicely done Nikosan. Nice mix...everything blends well. your music has a different "category" - it's unique. I like it. Excellent guitar playing!

Hey Nikosan-yeah, that's an interesting piece. Your vocals sound pretty good. I liked some of the sounds you were using near the first half. You used vocal hums it sounded like along with similar sounding keyboard or guitar with effects. Nice play off there. Probably around 30-40 seconds into the piece.

    Rock on man.

cool sounds, hearing this kind of stuff is what makes home recording so worth it - getting to hear fresh perspectives and executions of songs.

    very nice.

Hello Nick. Congrats on your two songs. I too enjoyed them very much. The first one (Rare moments) has a lot of unusual, yet very interesting and intriguing things in it. Lots of tempo changes, style changes and the use of instruments is enormous. Almost like singing a ballad to a R&B/HipHop beat ... hey, I think Sean Paul would like to sing your song ... he's got some interesting tunes sometimes ...
Song #2 is a wonderful, unplugged ballad. Nicely performed on guitar and you have incredible talent using your voice!
Keep it up, Nick, keep it up - and thanks for sharing your songs with us!
    Heinz.

    Well,

Thanks to all that listen, even more to all that replied! I really have enjoyed the cakewalk community. I appreciate the support and influence. I will have more stuff to come soon. If you like these two, you will like what's next. I am always down to work with artists, so, if you all hear a place where you think I might fit, hit me up!

Take it light, and all will be right!

Throw me a line sounded beautiful, however, I couldn't get your other song to work/play. I'll have to check back later I guess; anyways, great job on the production, as well as the song itself. Really soothing. I really enjoy folk music like this, and you only added to the enjoyment. Thank you, and thanks for sharing!
