Dropouts

OK, I've tried everything, all the instructions were followed, deleted the AUD.INI file, lowered the buffer, closed out all programs, increased the buffer..... Well, you get the point. But guess what?!?!?!

EVRYTIME I record a new vocal track the damn thing drops out at various stages. What to do?

    don't know....we'll need more info.

    what are your computer specs, including the make/model of your sound card. what driver mode are you using?

    Might be your OS (operating system). If your running Media Center as your OS, your pretty much gonna have a nightmare. Certain soundcoards (USB & Firewire - not sure about PCI), conflict with certain DAW's as well. Tell us what your running for a soundcard. Is it factory installed(came with the computer), or external? What are you using for an OS? As Beegle stated above, we need more info to go by.
