Loop Audio with video help Please

Hi,
My specs are in my signature below. I have a video with audio (27MB total) I have it save as a cwp. If I try to loop a part or even **** start again at say the 15th measure, the clock on the video is off, the video catches up but everything is just real chunky at start of play. once it syncs it's ok, but my loop is almost over by then. It seems with 27mb I should be able to do what I want pretty smoothly with 1GB ram, dual core 3.0, seperate audio data drive and the AP2496. I am sure their are settings to mess with, but I have no idea, I have never tried to do this with a video. A few suggestions on which settings to mess with would be much appreciated. Video is .avi, imported with stereo audio track.
Audio ops 44.1/16bits latency high 92(i don't need lower for what I do, I think) Bujffers in playback 2
AP2496 latency samples 512 Rate 44.1 not locked,int clock
I don't know what the video was before I imported it.
Jusdt playing it it plays fine from measure 1.

    Too much to learn here, I decided I shouldn't let 2 forum members bother me enough to leave a place I like. I have had CW since CWPA6, just came here and looked around over the years, never registered here. Hmmm? should I leave?
