Importing Wave File
When I try to import a wave file, recorded with an Olympus digital recorder, the file plays on Cakewalk at high speed. Any advice on how to fix this? Thanks.

What sampling rate does the olympus record at?
download the file to a folder in the computer, and open it in a free audio editor like audacity or goldwave and resave it in the sample rate that you have cake set to.
I'd Seize the day but i can't quite reach it!

Check your model number here and then click on specifications and there you will find the sampling rate.

This isn't one of the small voice recorders is it? I use one in my work quite often - and they are great. But not for music. For spoken word only.
[p.s. - they usually are a bit too sensitive in a lecture or large meeting setting.]
