Instrument Definitions

Hey, I need serious help here.....I have a PSR 3000 and Music Creator 3. I have downloaded the definition file already. I need to import it to my music creator. I have followed all the instruction from the help documents. It says that there is a button Define in the Option-instrument menu. But I dont see where the Define button is, please help me out here, I have to finish my work this week to meet the schedule, Thanks a lot!!!!

Technically, I don't think that the ins. def. are supported by MC, however, benny, one of the forum members here has been very successful with it and I'm sure he'll chime in soon to help you out. In the meantime, do a search of this forum and you'll see the recent thread that he posted concerning how to get your ins def to work with MC.

And his method worked for me, with some help from my brother the programmer. Despite not being able to import defs into MC Pro 24, according to the literature, I am now happily playing with the Yamaha sound banks from my keyboard. They sound much better than the standard MIDI I was using, and there are more sounds from which to choose.

    Hello everyone.

As beagle states, I am now "Chiming in" LOL. If you have the defenition file for your 3000 then email it to me via homesequencers@ntlworld.com with the subject header "PSR3000 def to CMC3 def" and I will create the required file for CMC3 so you have the full instrument definition available within CMC3.

I have completed the PSR3000 inst def file for use with CMC3 and you can download it from here! Check update below.

    UPDATE!...
Oops... I created a small typo error withiin the title of the original file I created and so have updated it and the update can be downloaded from here!
The error was the fact that the title should be "master" but I accidentally titled it "Master". Sorry about that
