Good evening

Hi everyone. Haven't had time to post hardly at all..... Been busy, but just wanted to share...

I was fortunate to be able to see Tommy Emmanuel in concert at the high school in Corbin, KY last night. If you have not heard of him, he is one of the most amazing guitar players I have ever seen or heard. He plays acoustic (amplified for his show), and his playing is stunning.

If you have the opportunity, and love the guitar, I highly recommend his live show, or any of his DVD's. (I also recommend his CD's, but you really have to see him to truly relize that all of that sound is coming from one person.

He plays kind of a Chet Adkins Style, carrying the bass line seamlessly, while he finger picks incredible melodies and chord patterns. His use of harmonics is also astounding.

If you have the chance, you may want to visit this site for a sample.

Enjoy,
