Windows Medai Player Help

Hey guys, quick question:

Something weird is going on. I use Windows Media Player version 10 for all my audio conversions. I almost always use it to convert my wma's into Mp3's. Anyway, whenever I burn a song to a cd, and than rip it from within the Media Play's program, I'm able to rip the song into an Mp3, however, if I right click on the song itself in a folder (MY MUSIC FOLDER) and go through the conversion wizard, it sayd it can not complete the conversion due to "not being able to recognize the codec." Can anybody tell me why this works when I rip music from a cd, but it doesn't when I use the conversion wizard?

Thanks

Bryant

I always found WMP to be somewhat frustrating to use, for anything but a player. The best i have found is DB Poweramp download that one and all will be good. Also why convert from WMA to MP3? WMA at high quality can be better than MP3 for some uses. Or at least as good anyway.

I'd Seize the day but i can't quite reach it!
