USB Microphone and Pyro 5?

Can anyone help me? I would like to get a USB microphone such as a Samson CO1U to record via Pyro 5 (using Windows XP). Would this type of mic work in a plug n play manner? ie will Pyro 5 recognise this type of mic as a source of audio input? I know it should work ok via more substantial DAW software, but would it work with Pyro 5? Thanks.

I think it really is about setting your default line-in/mic recording options in WinXP. If WinXP recognizes the mic and you set it as your default recording device you shouldn't have any problem.

Thanks Jimmy. I shall hopefully be getting a USB mic soon. Just needed some reassurance, so thank you!
