if it's midi compatible, I can't see why not... otherwise, I dunno.

but you'd need the midi out plugin to get P5 to send some midi to the 808 if that's poss...

I think one day that midiOut plugin will be integrated like the VST wrapper and life will be peachy. The mc808 has motorized faders and it would be nice if they utilized w/in P5v2.5 or 3 for that matter.

Midi out will be in the upgrade. So will ACT for the faders.

I have authentic analog drum machine samples.

oh... I was confused by the TR 808... I didn't know if this one had midi.
The MC 808 is pretty new, it should be aiight. Although I don't understand why you'd want to midi out P5 into the 808 : this groovebox has its own sequencer designed for some live stuff.

I'd think, it would be more logical to have P5 controlled by the 808... this way, you could use the internal sequencer of the 808 to trigger some stuff in P5... if both are synced, with a bit of midi channeling work, you could get some great stuff... think of a groovebox with its own sequencer triggering its own pattern while sending midi to the groove matrix that triggers its own patterns.

yeah... I'm just dreaming out loud ^^
