Quick question about installing Rapture 1.1

I'm i'm in the middle of a project in Sonar 6 with several instances of Rapture being used, will anything go awry if I upgrade to Rapture 1.1? Or, should it be seemless?

    Been seamless for me. YMMV.

    To think, at one time P5 was a $429 MSRP app.

    I've done the installation several times, Adam. OK, several dozen times. I haven't run into a real problem yet. The installer will move all of your existing programs to a new location (prep for Vista). Just make sure that you point the VSTi location (during installation) to the exact same spot as your 1.0 install.

    To be accurate, you don't need 1.0 installed at all, and there's a new combined installer for both XP-1 and XP-2. But you can leave your setup as-is, and everything gets automatically updated. Be sure to read the notes on the download page and the new ReadMe file. It explains a lot about the new features and the changes involved.

    Don't listen to these guys. Keep a backup copy of your song. One failure in a million is statistically acceptable, as long as it's not the case of oneself.
