Finding posted threads

Is there a way you guys are finding your threads you post?

I know the little icon shows you participated in a thread, but I'm wondering
Is there a way to view your posts without scrolling through
All of them to see if there's a reply?

The old forum software had a "show threads I participated in" option. It would sure be nice if that could be brought back, as I used it often. I feel bad when I've missed a post that was addressed to me specifically, perhaps even in one of my own threads, just because it's slipped off page 1.

There is, however, a crude solution: put something unique in your signature and use Google to search for it, specifying cakewalk.com. In your own signature you have the phrase "every xpansion", which may be unique, so you could find all of your posts by entering the following in the Google search box:

    "every xpansion" site:cakewalk.com

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

You can set the "always subscribe when posting" option in your profile. Then set the kind of notification you want for your subscriptions. Haven't used it, so I don't know if it is effective.

since the search feature is !BROKEN! (stops around july '11) hover over user control panel then select "my public profile". on the left of the screen under user information there will be a link to "Newest 50". click that and you'll get a list of threads you've posted or commented on.

    I do that.

    It works well.

The forum then maintains a "subscription" list for you under User Control Panel.

That's sort of ok but I replied 50 times in one thread (ya, I do that too ) I will only see that thread. Not very useful.

"Always Subscribe" is a good technique.
