Fingers crossed and hopes high
Howdy ! It's been awhile, but like many, the powerful lure of being a "lifer" brought me back to the forum after years of being content with X1c Producer Enhanced.
I loaded and launched Command Center last night, and woke up to the download choked at 90%. Before I left for work it was completed and installing. I hope to get home to a new desktop icon, and i'm sure...plenty of prompts to continue.
I am almost positive I have read here that old versions reside peacefully with the new installs, but just checking?
I'm looking forward to a problem free weekend of checking out the numerous enhancements since my last upgrade, and am particularly excited about the eminent "ripple editing" update. Thanks again to Craig and the many users who make this such a great resource. Please know that I may not be a frequent poster, but I do visit and enjoy the info gleaned from this community.
Cheers !

Yes, old versions have no issues sharing your machine with new versions. I have X1, X2, X3 and Platinum on the same machine without issue. Come to think of it, I really should do some house cleaning. Rocky

The difference compared to X1 is major, so do expect a bit of a learning curve. But there are plenty of Platinum veterans here if you run into difficulties.

I had X1-X3 on my system as well. Got a new SSD and dropped X1 & X2 (at least the bulky parts).

Still got 8.0 and 8.5 somewhere on my system. Not sure if they still work though. Might try them sometime just to remember the good ol' days. And of course Lexicon Pantheon Reverb.

Everything seems to be going well...installing a bit at a time based on my schedule. Just finished the Rapture Session (that sounds great). I have noticed quite a few of my old vsts not showing up ? (Addictive Keys, etc...)

Things are progressing nicely, again I'm taking it one component at a time and testing. I already had Addictive Drums too, so that was just a matter of updating to the 64bit version. I don't, however, see how in this scenario, I retrieve my free two ADPaks ? In regards to the above mentioned missing plugs, I think the missing ones were 32 bit, which I've largely addressed with updates.

One of only few remaining fixes...getting Kontak 5 to work. I've installed the new 64 bit version. Scanned, reset, rescanned. Can't get it to show up ?

Got it. The path was wrong for the 64 bit.
